Push The Limits
What's your limit? Often people, especially common people do not go as far as they are needed or until they reach their limit. This has always been an obstacle that I struggled with my employees in particular, how do you get them to go a little more?
Beginning as a triathlete, I found myself falling into this trap himself. I would like to exercise my doorstep EP (effort perceived). I thought I worked hard and would just push me until I thought: "I practiced hard enough. In December I decided to participate in my first Ironman race, a grueling 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2-mile race. So I hired a coach.
The first thing my coach taught me was to evaluate my efforts out of my heart. She taught me my heart rate zones, I bought a monitor and got to work. It would give me specific heart rate zones to work with the warning farm to stay in those areas. I soon found myself working harder than I ever had before and I was always pushing the limits of their areas.
Most clients you will encounter are the same way, if you let them with unlimited options, they are usually just the minimum they feel comfortable with. However, the definition of the limits and restrictions you will find that your clients will push the limits to the extent that they can. It is human nature and he can put more money in your pocket at the end of the day.
