International Jazz Festival has been started and will continue until July 20. It isorganized each year by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts since 1984. The festival this year is 17th Annual jazz festival. The festival consists of 50 concerts in Istanbul succeeded in converting a jazz town colorful. Istanbul flights offer as much as you want. Although it is called jazz festival and the emphasis is on jazz music but also include many other performances including music, rock, pop, blues, reggae concerts and New Age. different parts of the city are used as places of music, including, Archeological Museum, St. Irene Salon Sepetçiler Quasr, Istanbul Modern, İstinyePark and Marmara Esma Sultan with Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre. By taking cheap flights to Istanbul, you will be able to see the musicians performed their music from the stages in the streets for music lovers of Istanbul.
Besides these great concerts festival, many other impressive works are only performed by musicians in different parts of the city. The festival has also hosted many other major artists, including, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, the Modern Jazz Quartet, Stan Getz, Ornette Coleman, Eric Clapton, Massive Attack, Bjork, Deep Forest, Patti Smith, Bobby McFerrin, Randy Crawford, The Manhattan Transfer, Jan Garbarek, Keith Jarrett, Wynton Marsalis, Goran Bregovic, Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed, Ute Lemper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nick Cave, John Scofield, Simply Red, Jane Birkin, Brad Mehldau, Marcus Miller, Marianne Faithfull, Billy Cobham, Lenny Kravitz, Pat Metheny and Charlie Haden, among hundreds of other big names in the music industry.
Your flights to Istanbul Turkey this July means watch live performances by all these things and many other musicians. The festival this year includes also "The Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony, and this award will be awarded to the composer, pianist and saxophonist Tuna Ötenel. This event starts late at night every day and continues until mid night. It's really a festival worthy of attention after a visit to Istanbul.
